what is the best exterior paint? My son bought a house and it is an old house that needs painting.?
It is an old house built in the 50′s. It is so disheartening, because he found out his cousin is a liar, and left the house absolutely filthy! Ok, Dave, I have lost all respect for you.
Use Primer before you paint to prevent peeling/flaking in the future. I think white is a very good color for house…it really depends on the houes though- get some paint samples you like and paint a just a line on some of it and see which one you like better then paint over it with the color your son likes.

paints are getting more regulated every year with what they can and can’t put in to them , needless to say they are all the same but i would recommends putting a primer on it first before you paint it , so the paint will stick better , because if not it could peal and flake off .
