What is the best kind of Paint to used for Painting Exterior Brick?
You can use any kind of exterior latex paint. You don’t have to prime and you don’t have to spend a fortune on brick paint that is just latex exterior paint packaged to remove $$$ from your wallet.
It is a good idea to power wash the brick first.
You also don’t need to seal the paint after. You do, however need to make certain that the temperature outdoors is not lower than 10 degrees farenheit, as the paint will peel away. Also, don’t do it after a rainstorm. Wait at least 2 days after rain to paint.
We do this all the time.
