What is the best strategy for marketing a interior,exterior repainting painting business in Florida?
We are looking for advice as far as the marketabilty of this end of the house painting market. With new home construction down we feel this is the route to go.
I don’t know what part of Florida you’re in… but I’m visiting my parents in The Villages. And I’d have to say that if you’re going to target a specific market, go for the seniors in high end adult communities like The Villages.
Just driving around here will reveal ‘pimped out’ golf carts, elaborate landscaping, resurfaced (stoned) driveways, and a host of other luxury-type amenities.
The seniors have a lot more discretionary income, and they like their homes/property to look good.
As far as advertising, here at The Villages they have a local newspaper. I know that sometimes vendors contact the local clubs here to offer members discounts.
I know that you can use these strategies no matter where you are in Florida. Just make sure you’re targeting the higher end adult communities.
