what is the proper way to price an exterior painting job? Does it go by the Sq.Ft. of the house?
want to know do i charge by the square ft or the job it self. Also there will be Interior Painting done too
There are to many variables to tell you how to charge the outside how many windows, how high is it, how much cut in to do. Me I see a job figure how long its going to take and then figure what I want to make for the job say you wanna make $20 an hour if you figure its going to take 30 hours then $1200.00 to do it plus the material, tape, plastic, thinner, etc..etc..
Just make sure you don’t cut yourself short, again depending on the size of house I always figure 1 day to mask, 1 day for clean-up, 1 day for cutting in, and then however big it is set amount of days to spray it.
