Can i place a hardwood floor or laminate wood floor over porcelain tile??

I have a porcelain tile floor that is really hard to get up. Can i lay a wood floor right over the top it or should I take up the old tile?

Laminate Yes, it’s a floating floor
Wood No, It has to be nailed or glued in.

    1. you can install laminate over tile.

    2. you can isntall engineered hardwood over tile with a moisture barrier

    3. reant a chipper hammer from h.dept for $50 a day… and you will get all the tiles out of your life…

Why not taking the time to do things right the first time, instead of spending the time re-doing it or calling someone to do it 4 u.

    good luck
