For wood, Murphy’s Oil Soap was my answer. You may be mixing it too strong if it leaves a dull or sticky residue. Just use a little less and see…really it is excellent! That’s what it was made for.
For a tile floor, you can use anything really. I actually love to use diluted windex in extremely hot mop water…about a cup per gallon. The ammonia disinfects, and cuts grease and nasties and there is no residue from gunk on the floor, or from the Windex itself.
For all mopping jobs you want a well diluted cleaner…because it is so hard to rinse and this causes residue making things look less clean.

I use white vinegar and water. I don’t really measure it but it’s probably about 1-2 cups per gallon of hot water. It works on my wood floors!

I use white vinegar and water on my wood floors. I’ll use the Murphy’s spray for spot cleaning but I remember reading somewhere that Murphy’s will make your floors slick if you use it long term. As a result I’ve never used it as an overall wood floor cleaner.
PineSol is good on ceramic tile flooring. Lots of nice scents, too.
I used the Orange Glo cabinet cleaner and it left my cabinets feeling greasy. I think they put too much oil in both Murphy’s and Orange Glo.
