How much should one charge for interior painting?

I plan on starting a painting business and would like tips on how to charge for the service.

some by Job some by the hour………

You should have the experience to know the difference..

you set the table..

charge by the type of base paint–water base latex is simple

but oil based and such hard to clean up and ruins brushes..

roll it or brush—or spray…………..

35.00 an hour?

300 for standard room is 8 hours prime and paint.

We have just had our interior painted 3 bedrooms & a kitchen.

We asked for a quote upfront.

    It was $4000 Australian dollars.

We paid $1000 at the start, $1000 during the job and $2000 at the end. They did a great job, and that included all the paint.
