What should I charge for interior painting?

I am an entrepreneur. I am starting a painting business and am wondering how much I should charge my customers. There will be 3 of us painting. I would prefer to charge a flat hourly rate, plus materials, but any other method would be fine also.

Help a brother out tryin’ to make an honest buck.

Yo Bro! If you are just starting out , how can you afford 3 guys? I charge by the square foot of the room, IE: 10 x10 room @ $1.75 sq/ft = $175 plus materials plus baseboards . If you need to fix holes or repair damage then that is based on the hour. Good luck

    There are different prices for different territories and variable prices if it’s old or new construction. If it’s new construction, I suggest you get a set of blueprints to a new house and put the painting out to bid to two or three paint contractors based on the blueprints. You’ll be able to get an idea as to what the going rate is.
